TIMOTHY NESS, EA
Tim is a former IRS tax auditor who founded Ness Tax and Bookkeeping Service in 1999. A graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, he received his MBA from the University of South Dakota. He is an Enrolled Agent and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
MONA NESS, CPA
Mona received her Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy (MPA) from the University of South Dakota. She has distinguished herself as one of the most knowledgeable and friendly members of the Ness team. She is the primary source of contact for all corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax and accounting services.
GARY FORSCH
Gary has more than 20 years of tax preparation experience and specializes in farm and small business tax return preparation. Friendly and trustworthy, Gary is one of our most requested preparers.
GENE LEBAHN, EA
Gene is a graduate of the University of South Dakota where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Gene has been with the firm for years primarily working with small business and individual tax clients. He is an Enrolled Agent. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
CAROL JENKINS, EA
Carol is a graduate of Interstate Business College, ND. She has a long accounting and tax career in Rapid City, SD preparing individual and business tax returns, helping clients with IRS issues, and performing bookkeeping tasks. She's an Enrolled Agent. She is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
CYNTHIA SMITH
Cindy graduated from Huron State University/Colorado Tech. She has over a decade of income tax experience in public accounting, as well as experience working within a government agency.
JESSICA FISCHER
Jessica graduated from Augustana University with a major in Accounting and Business Administration. She is proficient with MS Office, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online.
SCOTT OWEN, EA
Scott is a graduate of South Dakota State University and the University of Sioux Falls with a degree in accounting. He received his MBA from Colorado Technical University. He has several years of income tax and bookkeeping experience. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
CHRISTOPHER LARSON
Chris graduated from South Dakota State University. He has extensive accounting experience with private industries such as Good Samaritan Society and Wells Fargo bank. He served in the South Dakota Army National Guard. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
STEVEN WAGNER
Steven has 35 years of accounting, auditing and tax experience. He graduated from Mount Marty College with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He is an expert in non-profit organization, law firm practices, individual and business taxation, corporate financial accounting, specialty taxes such as property tax, sales and use tax, construction excise tax, payroll tax, state nexus and taxation, various business entity types, accounting internal control and procedures. He has worked with both public accounting and private businesses. He has extensive knowledge of transportation, retail and service industries.
DAWN KIRSCH, EA
Dawn graduated from Augustana University. She has over 20 years of bookkeeping and income tax experience. She received her Enrolled Agent designation from the Internal Revenue Service.
TAYLOR MOYER
Taylor graduated from University of South Dakota with a degree in Accounting. He had worked in the banking and real estate industries prior to joining Ness Tax & Bookkeeping Service.
