TIMOTHY NESS, EA
Tim is a former IRS tax auditor who founded Ness Tax and Bookkeeping Service in 1999. A graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, he received his MBA from the University of South Dakota. He is an Enrolled Agent and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
MONA NESS, CPA
Mona received her Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy (MPA) from the University of South Dakota. She has distinguished herself as one of the most knowledgeable and friendly members of the Ness team. She is the primary source of contact for all corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax and accounting services.
GARY FORSCH
Gary has more than 20Â years of tax preparation experience and specializes in farm and small business tax return preparation. Friendly and trustworthy, Gary is one of our most requested preparers.
GENE LEBAHN, EA
Gene is a graduate of the University of South Dakota where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Gene has been with the firm for years primarily working with small business and individual tax clients. He is an Enrolled Agent. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
CAROL JENKINS, EA
Carol has been with Ness Tax and Bookkeeping team since 2016. She started doing bookkeeping in 1994 after earning a degree in accounting. She began her taxation career in 1998 and became an Enrolled Agent in 2001. She is passionate about taxes and helping her clients. She enjoys collecting books, reading, traveling and cuddling with her cats.
CARSON PRELLE
Carson graduated from the University of South Dakota majoring in Accounting and Entrepreneurship. Prior to working at Ness she did Auditing and Project Accounting for a large corporation. She is also a certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
JESSICA FISCHER
Jessica graduated from Augustana University with a major in Accounting and Business Administration. She is proficient with MS Office, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online.
SCOTT OWEN, EA
Scott is a graduate of South Dakota State University and the University of Sioux Falls with a degree in accounting. He received his MBA from Colorado Technical University. He has several years of income tax and bookkeeping experience. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
CHRISTOPHER LARSON
Chris graduated from South Dakota State University. He has extensive accounting experience with private industries such as Good Samaritan Society and Wells Fargo bank. He served in the South Dakota Army National Guard. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
STEVEN WAGNER
Steve has 43 years of accounting and tax experience. He graduated from Mount Marty College with degrees in Accounting and Business Adminsitration. He has worked at regional and local CPA firms and owned his own CPA firm for 17 years before coming to work for Ness Tax and Bookkeeping. He has worked in both public and private accouunting, specializing in individual and small business taxation with extensive knowledge of transportation, retail and service industry.
KOLTEN JANSEN
Kolten graduated from Wayne State College with a degrees in Accounting and Finance. He has previous experience working with an accounting firm and the construction industry.
TAYLOR MOYER
Taylor graduated from the University of South Dakota, where he received his Masters of Public Accountancy (MPA). He has 5 years of accounting experience across multiple industries, and he is also Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor certified.
ANGELA TSCHETTER
Angela has her Associates degree in Accounting from Southeast Technical College and is currently attending Dakota State University to obtain her Bachelors degree in Accounting and Business. She has a passion for helping her clients with any bookkeeping and tax preparation service.
MARK STEVAK, CPA
Mark is a graduate of Southern Illinois at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Accounting. He has over 20 years accounting experience specializing in accounting system conversions, establising accounting procedures and business planning. He also works with individual and small busness tax returns.
NICOLE LEBAHN
Nicole is a graduate of Nettleton Jr College with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to coming to Ness Tax she owned her own business. She is the friendly face of our 57th St. office front desk.
BRENDA HUFFMAN
Brenda is a graduate of the Univerity of Kansas with her Medical Interpreter Certificate. She is the friendly face of our 10th St. office front desk and helps with tax preparation for our Spanish speaking clients.
